Frequently Asked Questions

How Long is a BackstagePassDirect membership good for?

Usually, memberships run for a single year and can be renewed annually. However, we cannot guarantee that rates at the time of renewal will be the same as what was paid the previous year. In an attempt to provide a solution to this, we offer a Buy 2 Get 1 Free plan where you can lock in 3 years membership by paying for 2 years at today's prices.

How can I pay for my membership and passes?

BackstagePassDirect accepts several methods of payment to accommodate your needs, all via the PayPal payment portal. BackstagePassDirect accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and bank e-checks.

Am I buying my backstage passes from you?

Your membership in BackstagePassDirect provides you with the opportunity to obtain backstage passes to a wide range of entertainment types and venues. BackstagePassDirect acts as the agent to those who are promoting or otherwise providing the events for which you purchase Backstage Passes, such as venues, artists' representatives, and promoters ("Event Providers"). BackstagePassDirect generally is therefore only a services provider with respect to the sale.

How much is a backstage pass?

The Backstage Pass price is $149.00 each, regardless of the artist performing. This is less than "up-close" seating at many premium shows.

Can you assure me that I will get a pass for a certain show?

Backstage Passes for popular events may sell out quickly and are therefore always subject to availability. BackstagePassDirect cannot guarantee the availability for any event on any day and all Backstage Passes are available on a first come-first served basis.

Will I receive an Order Confirmation?

Yes, via e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation after submitting a request for a Pass, or if you experience an error message or service interruption, it is your responsibility to confirm with our Member Service Department whether or not your order has been placed.

How many passes for a single show may I order?

When ordering Backstage Passes on BackstagePassDirect, you are limited to a maximum of five Backstage Passes for each event. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair Backstage Pass buying practices.

What happens if the show is cancelled or rescheduled?

Refunds are available for all Backstage Passes where the event has been cancelled. If an event is rescheduled and it is not to your satisfaction, you are responsible for returning the Passes and requesting a refund.

What happens if I am interested in seeing the opening act and they cancel?

BackstagePassDirect is not always made aware of opening acts or the length of their performances. These opening acts are subject to change or cancellation at any time. Passes are not refundable in the event of changes in the opening act.

Can I just let myself go and really enjoy myself?

Event Providers reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with Event Provider rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your right to attend the event without refund. A Backstage Pass is a revocable right and admission may be refused.

Can I record the show?

You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You grant permission to utilize your image, likeness, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after performance) in any medium or context without further authorization or compensation.

Am I going to be searched?

You and your belongings may be searched on entry. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, bundles and containers.

Can I resell my passes?

Resale of Backstage Passes (or attempt) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. A Backstage Pass shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by the Event Provider, provided that even if such consent is obtained, resale is subject to BackstagePassDirect's consent.
